D8b led freezing on startup

Hi i was recording with the d8b when all the light went out so naturally i rebooted ... the computer on reboot then asked for the serial for 5.1 .... so i rebooted again this time the computer booted up fine but the desk has nearly all the leds in the red and has frozen can anyone please advise as too what the problem may be ....

ps i just switched it back on again after leaving it for 10 mins while joining the forum and its working fin again ? very weird have you any suggestions many thanks this desk is my life i absolutly love it i dont want to lose it :(


K guys heres a update ive cleaned the heatsink inside the d8b computer and blown all the dust out restarted fine ...it lasted for 5 min or soo all leds went out again d8b mixer froze i could still here the music and the computer monitor from d8b was working fine can anyone please help getting desperate many thanks ... could it be a psu issue ?? cpu fan ? when i restarted the fan was very noisy ?? or is it a ram issue

Problem fixed i hope followed instructions on the loose connections inside the mixer itself mine were loose been running for 10 mins now woohooo glad the forums are here cheers guys D8B is the best mixing desk in the world !!! will there be a d8b mk2 ??

Damn gone again :( can anyone tell me a good solution to stop the things from coming off cant keep doing this :( have you seen how many screws there are on the back of this thing lol and its heavy :( seems as tho no body talks on these forums anymore

I forgot my login and username on the mackie forum :( I came here first because it was newer and resigned up have been on the other forum for a few yrs does it matter ?? Cheers
