I having problems with gettin Signal threw d8b to protools

I'm having trouble getting sound into the profire and sending into protools9!do i have to make some kind of bus or how would i get my waves into protools9?i 'm using mpc threw my d8b,my mpc is getting i can hear threw my d8b but how do i send it to my profire to protools?thanx to any one who can help me with this problem!

I'm assuming that you have your profire connected via a lightpipe cable. If so have you assigned the channels to the appropriate outputs via the "Route to tape" section in the fat channel? If so are you sure that you have your ins and out correctly patched between units? Do you have wordclock connected between the 2 units and are the samplerates matching up?

let me try!no i don't have a wordclock!i have 8 analog goin in and two digital I/O in back of my d8b!

what im trying to do is send my mpc & keyboard sounds threw the d8b to profire2626 and protools!i can monitor out and hear what im playin it how to get what im playing into protools use 8out put @ a time threw my d8b sending to protools!thanks for ur help!
