Mouse/Keyboard issue.

Postby Rutah » Sun May 03, 2009 2:15 am

My CPU only has one DIN input in the back for the keyboard... no mouse input. How do I get this to work with a mouse and keyboard? I have a 5 pin din to PS/2 adapter and a ps/2 splitter for mouse and keyboard but the mouse does not register... the keyboard works though. I have tried two optical mouses (Mice?) both light up but no movement on the screen.

Any suggestions? I cannot find a 5 pin din to split sp/2 adapter anywhere on line.

Thanks! :)

The keyboard has to go in the connector marked 146 and the mouse goes in the 147. You can not connect both the keyboard and the mouse to the same connection.

Mine does not have a 147! Only a 146

The guy that owned it before me had a mouse and keyboard running though.

Maybe he had the motherboard replaced for a more modern one and the mouse goes into a USB connector. Is there any USB connector in your CPU?

The picture I posted is from the Owner Manual... :?:
