I am sad to report that it appears Bob Tudor has passed away. If you use a d8b, you owe alot to Bob as he was one of the many talented individuals that got this console off the ground. God speed Bob.

Very sad news. I was fortunate to see Bob once in 1999 at the Los Angeles Guitar Center for the introduction of OS V2. He was simply electric in his presentation of the new OS, particularly the new FAT channel. As many of you remember it was such a great and exciting time to own a D8B, and Bob Tudor was largely responsible for it.
RIP Mr. Tudor. We'll miss you.

Bob had been working for Presonus for some years now as the Chief Technical Officer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As I recall, Bob left Mackie sometime around 2001 or so.

Back in the Mackie days, Bob was a Diet Cola junkie. He had a printout of this on the wall behind his desk. It was easy to make him laugh.

If there was any one thing you could say about Bob, it was that he was a force. He will be missed by many.
