First thing I'd do is replace the battery in the cpu and reset the bios settings (if you can get that far).

I have exactly the same problem. Two days ago, the console worked fine, now my screen is blank, when I turn on the PSU. I have replaced (the very old) battery. It is possible that someone did few random changes in BIOS (that cannot be remembered anymore) before it died. OK, it was me :S

I've tried to clear the CMOS by moving the blue jumper, but no luck.. Help?

Why do you want to clear the CMOS? Just check all the figures and change any that are wrong.

I cannot enter the BIOS? Monitor screen goes blank when I turn the D8B on.

How far does it get? Do you ever see anything on the screen?

Not a thing..I can hear the RAM check, HD start up, I get "Loading host, please wait" message on the mixer, the keyboard and mouse seem to work, but no green light with floppy drive and the monitor remains blank.

Have you tried to hold down the delete key through the boot up process to see if you can get to bios screen? If you get no green light on the floppy drive, it is either dead, or the bios settings are wrong. I suppose you could have a bad HD or Motherboard as well. I have had all of these failures in various d8b's before.
