Thanks for the Memory info Crash!

BTW I still don't have my HDR running. It is in the Hospital right now. Open heart surgery is what is happening. I hope it makes it.

Hey Crash;
My HDR will not record. The LED's above the transport controls do not light up when the transport is engauged (Rew / FF / Play / Stop) but do work as other functions, like T/C chase, cause them to come on. The machine plays, stops, rewinds, fst forward, but will not record. There is more detail in the HDR / MDR forum under "Lost Transport". Bottom line I got hold of Mike Rivers and he was baffeled. So I figure if he doesn't know then perhaps surgery is in order.

Merry Christmas

That is odd behavior. If Rivers is baffled then the unit is truly cursed. I hope you get it sorted out.

Hi guys,

I know, this post is quite old, but I am encountering a similar problem:

Mine won't boot on 5.1 but works perfectly on 3.0.
I faced that problem when suddenly my d8b refused to boot (it worked some years perfecty on 5.1).
Every reinstallation attempt failed.

3.0 works fine!!

You can see a more detailed description in my post "another boot fail".

Another flake. I'll have a lamb rogan josh with some mango chutney and pack of pappadams to go. How long do ya reckon? I'm in a hurry.

In the scheme of things, there isn't one... just chaos.
