help my play led is only blinking

hy,

i have a problem with my d8b , when i play the led is only blinking i have bought a
Mackie CE Clock Card for d8b, but it is still blinking there is no */? on the display.
the time stay only by 0:00:00:00.

what can i do?

A bit of an ambiguous description, but w/ face value assumptions made:

If everything was working properly before the clock card was introduced into the system, power down the desk and re-seat the clock card; restart and see if that doesn't fix things..

If the timecode display is blinking , it usually means there is no MTC being sent to the D8B. Do you have a DAW attached and set to send MTC to the D8B?

no i must input the clock card because without this card thers no audiosignal and no meters worked.
i have a pc witch cubase 5 and sound card with a esi ESP 1010e and this connected via midi with the D8B cpu unit.
and now i didnt know what i must to do
