X-fer files from computer to D8B

New opportunities, new problems. I bought an adapter to hook my removable hard drives to my computer. When I open the hard drive it shows the HDR folder. I moved some wave files from my computer to the hard drive, but when I open the files from the HDR, it shows the files, but I can't seem to open them or put them into a file. All files are wav files from my computer. I am obviously missing something. Any ideas? thanks Brian

You need to import them into a session file once they are on the HDR. It is sort of clunky and not intuitive. Once you have them imported look at the regions area on the HDR, right hand side and then drag them over to the playlist. I assume this is your issue. You are trying to get things off a computer onto the HDR, correct?

You might want to go over to the HDR section instead of the d8b section for info on this.
