Aux Pre/Post on Console

Postby tinoschulz » Sat Sep 10, 2011 10:43 am

Hey. is it possible to set the Aux Pre/Post on the console?

I´d like to use the D8B in Live Situations and want to get rid of the mouse as much as i can.
Just the D8B, Monitor and some Outboard Equipment.

(Yes..It´s pain. But i love the Sound of the D8B and got so used to its functions)

Have a look at page 44 of the manual, under 'AUX Send Levels' (CTRL+click the send level, or setup globally). You can save your setup into a startup project file - you'll find that in the manual, too.

EDIT: or maybe I misunderstood you and you want to do it from the console?

A mouse is not to be confused with a moose... I know they sound very similar and both have two ears, but a mouse takes up a lot less space.

There is "not just one thing" that you can't do without a mouse and keyboard on a d8b. <- what did he just say???

For myself, I find the use of the d8b board (unless you are running the same show every show with it already automated and set up) without a mouse and keyboard limiting.

Hope this helps,
Michael
