Not sure how it will work, but I have set up an Outlook email account, so if you wish to PM me with your email address, I will add it to the Contacts list. i will also advise you "privately" of the details.

If I receive a PM from anyone that I do not recognise at this time I will not add that contact or supply details

I have no idea how it will work and am quite prepared to delete the account if considered unsuitable or undesirable. the problem as I see it is that anyone who uses the account and looks at the contact list will see that person's email address and would be able to copy it and make direct contact with them.

Other forum members with far more computer knowledge than I have, might have a far better way of doing what I have done and I will take no offence if told to take the account down.

The only other option that I can think of (and it could be a better option) is that I set up a folder on my computer and simply copy any supplied email addresses that I receive via a PM, into that folder and if asked by someone for a specific person's address, that I email that person and ask if I can forward their email address to the requester and they then communicate privately.

Any suggestions gladly accepted and appreciated.

If somebody across the pond could give this number a call [ (+34) 655 311 500 ], it's listed here as his phone number :

https://www.sonido-7.com/sonido7/contacts_es.html

If not Peter, perhaps someone on the other end that could advise on his whereabouts, etc...

Just a thought... ;)

Studioman,

Unfortunately not.

I am still waiting for an old friend to visit me so that he can phone and speak to him in Spanish as I am not sure if he speaks English, although his name in written as an English name and he seems to be able to write very well in English.

Hi All,
Major update. David (CSP) was able to contact Peter by Phone. He is well, but in the process of moving and currently living out of boxes. I texted him in spanish, not knowing that David had already made contact, but he was quite upbeat when he texted me back and told me that he wanted the forum to continue and that he didn't know about the software update yet, but would keep the forum as it is until he gets settled in his new house and has a chance to investigate. So I guess everythings going to be ok as far as the forum goes. He said his preferred method of communication is by whatsApp.

Have a blessed day,
Mike

Mike,

As basically stated in my PM, let's hope that all be Ok and like with you me stated that he was very keen to keep the forum going when he gets settled which could be a few weeks.

I would suggest that at this time (unless something drastic happens to the forum) we do not flood him with texts, emails, phone calls, etc as he is quite limited in his ability to use these things at the moment.
