D8B Fader

Postby heinz-musik-hd » Mon Jan 23, 2023 7:23 pm

Hello Mackie folks.
Some time ago I had problems with the update 3.1 to 5.1
A thousand thanks to the people who know more than me.
The problem I have now is, after switching on the Mackie d8b,
the faders all go to the middle position! oh when I load a saved session,
the faders stay in the middle position.
It would be great if someone could tell me what was wrong.
Thanks to everyone who helps!!!!

This could be that something has gone wrong with your Start-up session in that it has saved a session with all faders raised.

After starting the desk bring all faders to the bottom and then save this and make this your new start up session.

Then shut the desk down clicking the option to make this the start up. Wait about a minute and then re-boot the console to see what happens --- hopefully all will be normal again.

If this works, be sure that in future when shutting down the desk you do not select to save the desk's then current state as the default start up session, but instead chose the "no" option.

Hope this helps.

...or you can delete your start up session file. The rig will recreate a new default start up session on the next boot up.

Thanks to all the helpers.
The error lies in a setting in the options!
( Automation - Trim Levels ) tick removed, and everything as it should be.
