protools and probox

Postby nuss » Tue Dec 31, 2019 7:04 pm

its been a looooooong time since I've posted in here but read it often!!

I have always used cubase and Nuendo and have recently added a Mac running protools 2018 and I'm hoping someone can give me a quick hand here.....

I have the manual for the probe and it works perfect on our pc running cubase and Nuendo. However, when I follow the settings to set it up in protools I'm getting really confused.....

under peripherals, I have it set to HUI as instructed but when I go to set the MCU ports via the drop down menus all I get is "none" with no other options??

I feel like an amateur here and I've been doing this for many many years but protools is a whole new beast to me and a very confusing one so far......

Am I missing a setting somewhere? or do I have to "activate MIDI" somehow?

I know a number of you are using this setup.....anyone have a step by step setup guide for this??

Thank you so much in advance and happy holidays to everyone!
