Faders replace

Hello, i have 3 faulty faders, i need to replace them, is there a guide to do it by myself?
I found these on ebay, they should fit ok.

I bought a complete board for less than that, but they're getting hard to find now.

The easiest way to remove the faders is with a solder pump because of the multiple connectors.

Hi, I think the D8B uses faders with slightly different mounting points to the ones that you have linked to. You may also need to crop the pin that feeds the touch sensitivity track.

You may have gotten this sussed out by now but I just stumbled across two 8 fader boards and one 9 fader board that were in my d8b box that look to never have been installed in a console. They are in anti static bags still but I can make no claim as to what the operational condition is after all this time, but I got 'em if anyone wants to take a chance. I have decomissioned my d8b with mixed feelings and found these when I got the box out to store the console.

Wish I knew about your fader banks about six months ago I bought one from a guy in the USA known on this forum, I had hassle as it didn't work! But up and running again now.

I had mixed emotions about taking the d8b out. It still works, never gave me issue but I got a stupid deal on a dxb that intrigued me. It needed a bit of work but I got it up and running and with the "Grado" upgrade (The guy that inherited the software after Bob passed) to software, it just makes my work flow easier. You can patch anything anywhere, which works out for me in terms of outboard, which I have fair bit. I am losing some of the cool d8b plugins but I can run VST plugs on this console.

I didn't even remember that I had these extra fader banks until I got the box out for the d8b. They probably work but hard to say this many years down the road. I am guessing they are new old stock from when I built the console. I got em if someone get in a bind.
