FADERS MOVING

But the previous bank moved more than this newly installed. The previous moved circa 1.5 to 3 whereas this one only goes +/- 0.2. Im suspecting there is something on the brain board.

Ok, not so likely to be the drive transistors or the op-amp. Q1 and Q6 isolate the motor drive circuit from the fader automation circuit. If it was in the motor drive circuit then turning fader motors off should not have any effect. Seems more likely to be in the automation section of the circuit. Very slight variations in the signal off the fader or the automation D/A convertor itself will result in very small movements as the circuitry tries to keep the fader in position. I'd try some fader lube on the faders that are affected.
Could still be the rail caps letting digital noise into the op-amps.

Sorry, yet another thought.....you have swapped fader boards. Was it channels 10, 14 and 16 on the previous board as well as the new one?

No others too not only those. Even other faders on other banks moved a little

Are you referring to the rail caps on the brainboard or fader banks?

Might try and reinstall the OS. Is it possible there is something in the OS? I tried different sessions and the problem persisted.

If you replaced the bank and it still happened then it's not the bank, just to check, move the faulty bank to either 1 or 3 banks just to see if it still happens.

But there was something wrong with the previous 8 fader bank. The margin of error was too high when compared with the one installed now.
Just to recap im seeing a slight movement across the board on the 3 different banks. Very slight movement of 0.2 or 0.3.

Although i beleive if there is something wrong in the electrical supply of the psu not only the faders go weired but even the pots etc....right?
