no signal from HDR in to D8B

Postby Riverside Studio » Mon Oct 14, 2019 7:26 pm

Greetings again friends,
My question for today:
I bought another d8b,it boots ups fine.
But I cant get it to recognize the signal from the optical inputs from the HDR.
What am I missing?
Also it keeps asking for the authorization code, how many numbers /letters are in this code? NOt sure if I am using the correct code.

Thanks much......

Is your "digital" in setup showing OPT-8 cards.

If your D8b is showing v5.1 then it's probably in demo mode and it's asking for an unlock code, unless you were given the code, you will either have to use v3 or do the CRACK that's on this forum.

The code has, four sets of four numbers and letters, ie 16 digits in all if I remember right.

Is there an Apogie word card or the original installed?

Are your tracking gains tuned up, not the input gains at the top of the channels.

Also, there are 3 sets of 4 numbers/letters in the warning box asking for auth. code, is that the code? (I've been using them, but still stays in demo mode).

Top middle right of mixer you have the AUX's, just above the 2AUX is an input gain button press it, the pan control knobs above the faders now are gain control, these should be at 12 O'clock.

You have no VU's showing from your HDR? check the end of the lightpipes going into the d8b to see if they're lit with a red light.

When you hit the digital trim button, all the knobs above the faders 24 of them are now trim and should show 12 o'clock
