Band re-union after 48 years!

Postby Phil.c » Sun Jun 02, 2019 11:54 am

I rarely do this, but band members of our early 70's band have got together after 48 years, the question was can we still do what we did back then as many years have passed by, so we had a bash in my studio :D

An old Purple song that we used to play in 1971-ish

Phil, you're about to give your real age away. 70ish and 80ish were some good years.
seems like money went further in them days. now you get just a tiny bit with $100 bill.

Joe, The 60,s and 70’S, but especially the 60's was very special, I have pretty much done it all, I started out playing the Shadows and went through lots of styles up to heavy rock. I've supported many famous bands and also have met famous people, and I've gigged all over the UK including the "real" Cavern, today's musicians have really missed out with those times!

I''m still recording though and it's still good :)

No real rehearsal just memories from when we did It live, a couple of run throughs and that was it.

Here's another one

Now you're talking. Love Deep Purple, even more so, the early 80's Gillan solo stuff. Mr. Universe was a masterpiece.
