I tried to install the old floppy system, but I think it has some problems, someone can share a copy, they are 2 Floppies

version 2.01
online I found only version 2.03

I can't remember all of the oddities that were associated with some of those earlier software builds, but there were some. It would never occur to me to run anything other than latest build for this console. I don't know where you would find anything that old... I might have floppies of that somewhere from when I was at the mothership but chances are ..not. I will try and remember to look when I get a chance but I am guessing I probably didn't keep any of those old builds due to previously said oddities.

The original software build was pre 2.01 fyi. There was a short time of a V1.0 as I recall. It was super whack, especially with things like compressor meters to what was actually happening with the compressor for example.

The later OS's were put there for a reason, mainly to correct bugs, these desks are very temperamental even with the latest OS, your decission but as an old hand with the d8b, the last thing I would do is go back to 2:01 :?

agree with Phil...."looking backward to move forward in software engineering" is key for bugs fixes and performance.
