Somewhere I have a meter bridge floating around with all the stuff on it. I'll see if I can't snap a pic if I can find it so you can see what it looks like out of the console.

Here are the pics of the meter bridge that I was able to dig out. You can see the VFD with and without the lens that cuts down on the lumens blasting out of that thing.

Thanks that will help. I'll have to take it apart a little more to reset the ribbon.

Let me know if you need anything in particular pictured.

The bummer about getting to the VFD is that it's part of the first steps in building a d8b, so it is good and buried. If mine quit working, I wouldn't bother trying to fix it and I have been elbows deep in many a d8b. It is doable, assuming you can find a suitable replacement part, it's just not any fun.

I just got a Probox and getting everything configured would be easier with it for sure, but if it's a giant hassle I may not bother. Thanks

Oh... I didn't take that into consideration, my bad.

Hi
the timecode display also shows the probox setup menu coded by numbers. check the manual to see which numbers needs to be seen for the setup items. This is exactly for users where the display is end of life

I use several pieces of outboard gear and I need to decide the best way to use them all with a D8B/Probox set-up. I could use my MOTU 24io for a pipeline set up via Studio One and my 2408 for 3 tdif back into the D8B. Do you use a Probox?
