It's been behaving. Fingers crossed that it was clock card and/or BFC connector seating.

I hope the forum is here to stay. It's an irreplaceable resource for the d8b/HDR, etc. I love the board, I think it's a masterpiece of ergonomics. It's a rare thing for me to find myself in almost total agreement/awe of the engineering philosophy/design of digital music gear. If this forum remains alive, those of us who love the board will be able to keep them going for a long time, I suspect.
Sadly, I've seen internet resources for other vintage gear I use disappear in the blink of an eye, without a trace or warning. I wish that more forum owners would implement perhaps a small subscription fee that would allow subscribers to periodically download the forum SQL database/backup/etc,, to allow for a local read-only install. At bare minimum, it would allow others the chance to pick up the ball in the event of a death, etc. None of us are getting younger, that's for damn sure.
