Hi All,
I have done a little research, and there is a reason the spammers pick that particular thread. They get paid for doing this, and they get paid by the number of veiws. So, if they spam a thread with 50,000 veiws they immediately get paid big time. Perhaps Petersueco can close these older threads to new posts and if someone has something relevant to that thread they can just reference it in a new thread?

Hello Mike.

What you say looks like a good idea. However, the amount of spam here is not very high. I visit the forum 2 or 3 times a week and clean them up. I ban the user name, his e-mail address and after that I delete all his posts.

I really do not have too much time to start locking threads. If you want a thread to be locked please point me to it.

I totally understand about time being precious, perhaps you could lock the "Converting a D8B to a full fledged DAW controller (w/o midi)" thread.
