replacing CPU moterboards

Postby Carlo » Sat Apr 28, 2018 6:53 pm

Dear All,

is it just a direct swap or there are issues that one has to take into considerations before changing the old mother board with the new motherboard? I would like to change the old one with a new one since i can purchase one from a friend. Are the voltages the same ?

ITOX CB-50BX 300mhz vs AMPTRON PM 9800 133mhz

thanks for your advice
Carlo

my question is: Is everything in the remote CPU (e.g. connectors, voltages etc ) compatible with the ITOX new motherboard if i remove the old AMPTRON?

Hi Carlo;

I do not know the answer to you Q but in the DATABASE there is some info on the "old" versus "new" Motherboards. It is in the "Maintenance" Tab down a bit. If I knew how to send the link I would. There are links to Manuals for each board.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

I changed the old board for a new one many years ago, it was a straight swap, however the processor has to be upgraded and also the new CMOS http://www.sonido-7.com/d8b/files/hdr_a ... b_bios.pdf

Is there a way to replace the hard disk and the CPU board with compatible slots with the cards?
the biggest problem I see in the drivers / bios of the cpu board and replace them by ms-two in a clone of the hard disk.
the topic of the power supply I see it easier to solve.
