How can I activate D8B's Jog/Shuttle to work with PRO TOOLS

Hello guys, just one question:
How can I "activate" the D8B's Jog/Shuttle wheel to work in PRO TOOLS?

I was trying for days, changing PT preferences, activating (and de-activating) MMC, MTC, and other parameters and peripherals but NO LUCK.
D8B can't send these commands to Pro Tools 10HD or what ??.

I have a ProBox too.

I used to have this working in Cubase before i unplugged everything to build a new studio and now i forget how to make it work again. The Jog/Shuttle wheel on the d8b is great because the detent clicks will synchronize to your quantise value making editing very quick. If i remember correctly you have to 1) tell the software to link to the d8b midi for MMC and MTC but more importantly, in MIDI devices you need to assign the d8b midi port to the the Mackie Control or HUI settings within your daw. There should also be a setting somewhere for Remote.

Inside Pro Tools, Peripherals>MIDI Controllers> window, I can assign 4 MIDI controller devices.
3 of them are assigned to PROBOX and the fourth is free. I'll try to assign the last one (#4) to Mackie D8B.

make sure you also find the entry for sending MIDI Time Code also so you can use the transport controls whiel inside your DAW.

Rew/Fdw/Stop and Play buttons are working very well but not Jog/Shuttle wheel.

Day after day making tests with NO LUCK...
Shuttle/Jog do not want to work within Pro Tools 10.

PLEASE: Any clues ??

I can't believe that I'm the only user trying to use Jog/Shuttle within Pro Tools software...

From what I can tell by searching the internet, Pro-tools doesn't exactly play nice with the D8B. (Can't speak from experience as I don't use PT) But the Pro-Box does. Contact or PM Munkustrap and ask him any specific questions you might have as to how to pro-box might allow you to use the D8B to control pro-tools. Please don't yell at us, as it is my experience that the people on here will give you the shirt off their back to help a guy out. Anyway, you might want to invest in a pro-box.

I've Pro-Box and it's very nice.
However, from D8D (without Pro-Box) I can command PLAY, STOP, REW, FFW, etc... all except JOG/SHUTTLE.
I don't know if it is due a malfunction problem on my D8B or any other thing missconfigured using JOG/SHUTTLE, like MIDI/MMC/MTC.

Hello! 2 years from Your las post here. Did You fix Your problem by now?

1. What midi interface do You use?
2. If You use MIDI to USB, what is model/manufacture?
3. Did You try out Jog/Shuttle to windows midi monitor?
4. Some commands can not work with Pro Tools, via Pro Tools version.

I have Pro Tools MIX TDM system, I will try all of it and repot for the result here!
