Which contact cleaner do you recomend?

Postby TySTUDIO » Wed Nov 09, 2016 4:40 pm

Hello,

I want to clean the contacts on all my effects cards and I/O cards and was wondering what many of you other D8B owners are using and/or recommend.

Thanks,

Kevin

Another good product is DeoxIT Pot & Switch Cleaner.

Comes in a spray can.

I can't agree with Phil enough. I've always over looked isopropyl alcohol.

I have noise in some of the gain pots. Took the cap off, and used a eye dropper and let a few drops seep down the shaft. Gave a few twists and let it dry for a few hours.. magic.

Cleaned some board contacts with a soft toothbrush, and bam. Zero issues.

I got a bottle of PUREtronics brand for 8 bucks...
