Hi mike

So I take it you got the tc ll plug in working that you got from Bruce I never could get my going.
Are you liking the tc ll reverb better than tc 1. My d8b id down so I don't think I can get it fixed this time. Mike I was even able to get me a good Alexis master link after I went to your studio and you was telling me how goes d you liked yours. Looks like I want get to see how good it is since my boards down. Sorry did not mean to interrupt this post

I update my post only to say that...
THE MIXER WORKS!!!

I was sure the Error:43 was a video card issue and Yes it was! I remember a video card swap long time ago... cleaned AGAIN with care the old video card and BAM! OS 5.1 LOADED and mixer up.
Now my issue is keeping the Auth Code... which REBOOT sequence is correct? I power down the mixer and OS keep me asking the code. But anyway... I'M HAPPY! Thanx to all of you, superb community!

Raggirays: Read this thread. That should solve the 5.1 issue.

What is this TC II reverb thing? It never existed.

Hi Peter;

I have a Mackie d8b original disk labelled t.c. electronic TC FX II (renowned M2000 Reverb Algorithms) Version 1.0 B50.

I have it installed but as I have no authorisation code it reverts to demo mode after 10 min (or so), and as it reverts I am not sure exactly what version it is. I will check next time I am in my studio and post back.

I sent a copy to Mike W. but he sadly had difficulty with it and it caused problems for him (sorry Mike).

If I have caused any confusion for anyone so sorry.

Edit: I did check and it is tc I with the FX being the II part. Sorry for the confusion. It is all academic as I can not unlock it. The famous Munk Bug Fix, didn't have that authorisation code. Great reverb and delay but not usable for me.

Again sorry for the confusion. tc I it is!

Cheers
Bruce

Bruce, TC I was free if you had a UFX card. The box code was 0000-0000-0000, 1111-1111-1111 or 2222-2222-2222. I can't recall which. Someone else may be able to help with that but Mackie should be able to give you the free entry code if you supply the board's ESN as well.

The TC was free because it was never fully developed. It is basically an 8 bit POS. The reverb in the MFX card is tons better. Actually any cheap outboard reverb from that time period blows rings around it. Don't lose any sleep if you can't get it running....you aren't missing much.

Thanks for that Frank.

How about the Mono Delay? I do not have a code for that either. I have the code that was on the Hack list but it doesn't unlock the mono delay (at least not for me anyway). Is it worth it?

Thanks
Bruce
