probox meterbridge with logic X

Postby munkustrap » Tue Sep 22, 2015 8:44 am

Hi guys

as we all know now, Logic only sends the exponential meterbridge commands which Shows no metering on small signals.
I found a Forum thread a few days old where a guy runs his MCU in Mackie protocol instead of logic protocol with Logic X.

As I cannot try this out (no MAC with Logic) maybe somebody can check that ?

my main interest is the meterbridge, how does it work ?
- do you have linear metering
- does the clipping works (red light on the meter and blinking red LED in the channel)

Hi
I got the Feedback that changing from Logic to Mackie protocol on the probox/d8b enables the linear metering and everything works fine.

best regards
