Faders Not Working when using the GUI

Hello Eeveryone, I cant figure out why after I opened up my D8B to clean the faders and everything booted up just fine. The faders where working the 3 time I booted, but now the faders dont move at all when you move them on the GUI or if you move them physically on the board. The only time the faders move is on bootup and when you open up a different project and All the faders move to Off. They also move when you perform the Calibrate Fader motors. Any ideas what it might be?

The obvious clue is:

It's hard to say without knowing EXACTLY what you did when you opened it up to clean the faders.
Most likely, some connector got unseated. Open it up again and check all the connectors going to and from the fader boards. And check all the others as well. You might have accidentally unseated something nearby.
And also make sure there isn't and loose foreign objects sitting on any of the boards....like a screw or something.

I figured it out thank you. I had a old backup image of the D8b, so i imaged a 20gb harddrive with the old image and the faders are working now. I think what happen was when i did a fader Calibration it might have corrupted something.

Hmm...I would not have guessed software re-installation as the answer. Well, glad it's for you working now.
