I recently bought a 2nd D8B with a Vrs 3 Software (I have a vrs 5 on the current one) I also bought a UFX card for it (I already have 2 UFX cards on the one I currently use) and I already have the codes for the ones I'm using. I would like to know is there anyone who can offer some advise as to what how I should do about installing the new UFX card without having to pay for the codes for the license and whether or not I should upgrade the vrs 3 to a vrs 5.
Any help would be appreciated.

So, If I used the 5V software on the 2nd D8b I would just be stuck because the codes I have on the one currently in use won't unlock the 5V once installed on the 2nd one. Can you tell me how the UFX card would work on the 3V, if at all?

You could only run the console in demo mode without the unlock code. After about 7 minutes it would revert back to V3.

You can run a UFX card with v3. I mixed a lot of records with v3, you just need the codes for the various third party plugs that you can get from Mackie, assuming you can still get the codes for the plugs. It has been years but I am guessing they will still take your money and give you codes for the UFX plugins.
