Apogee Word Clock Lock Error

My Apologies if this has been addressed before, but I was unable to find it though a search. I am trying to use the Apogee work clock with my MOTU 2408 MKii interface, and for Some Reason, when I set the Apogee Clock in OS3.0 to Work Clock, I get a Lock Error.

I am hoping it is something stupid, but I cannot seem to figure it out. I have tried booting the D8B first, the MOTU first.

The BNC cable is connected D8B out to MOTU in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The cable should be MOTU clock OUT to D8B IN
