Hi. I am using the ProBox, and therefore I don't have my d8b monitor and keyboard connected, as I don't use the audio part!

My question. Is it a problem that i do not shot down the d8b software, before cutting the power? I know that i'm not using the d8b software anyway, but just wondered if I Will mess up the CPU?

Hi
I see only two small Problems that are not that critical

1. maybe you mess up the Installation. in this case you have to reinstall the Mackie OS later on if you want to use the Audio again.

2. When powering of correctly the hard disk drive usually is put in a parking mode (save against Shocks)
if you have your CPU/PSU in a rack I do not see any Problems when powering off.

maybe you think about making the CPU/PSU fanless as I describe in may Manual (the easy one)

best regards
