This will be an amazing accomplishment for you and a very welcome upgrade for all d8b users. I wish you nothing but good luck and positive thoughts. I will be purchasing when it all comes together.

I have to commend you on your endeavours, you are obviously not only talented but very perseverent. The hours you have devoted could probably have bought a System 5!

I really hope you get this solved as a hybrid of both worlds would be fantastic. Currently the only alternative is the SSL Nucleus and its only got 16 faders and only limited audio I/O for over £3500. To me it still seems strange there are so few modular control surfaces or 24 channel players (the discontinued Tascam US2400 was interesting but lacked scribble strips).

Marc I love where you want to go with the D8b. Having just bought a D8b and being a Digital Performer and Pro Tools user on the mac platform, I am very exciting about what you are planning for your 2.0 release hopefully. Keep up the great work.
