Problem with D8Bridge

Hi.
I finaly got my cable,
but i have problems getting the Mackie to work with cubase.
I start the D8Bridge and everything looks fine. It says "connected, waiting for DAW" i can test the leds etc.
When i load up cubase, the mackie display changes so i know it recognises the DAW.
I load a song and then the wierd things start...  None of the faders seems to respond or move. Some channels on the meter bridge jumps strange (even when not playing). Turns panning left on tracks etc.
I have testing different ports. and i have tested to disconnect every other usb cables but the one to the Mackie.
Also last time i tried, either Cubase or D8Bridge software will crash (not responding) as soon as i open a project in cubase.
Sometimes a strange sound also comes from the speakers when playing.
Midiox.com has been down since i got the cable but i found MidiYoke on a different website.

Windows 7 64-bit
Cubase 5 32-bit

Hope you can help me out here.
/danne

ps: sorry for my bad english, hope you understand my spelling :)

That's great news Red! I'm happy for you! I was on the verge of compiling a small test program for you to see if I could do anything from here (Canada). Thanks for all your patience, I hope you can enjoy D8Bridge now! :D
