Ok John,
Will try this. Are you familiar with the “cue 0 not found”code?

What type of mouse are you using? Is it a PS2 or USB (with adaptor)? I haven't had much luck with PS2-USB adaptors, so I've always tried to stick to using a basic PS2 mouse with my HDRs.
Try a different mouse, they have been known to fail!

If I unplug my keyboard the mouse works when I plug the keyboard back in the mouse doesn’t work I guess that’s progress. Yes I am using usb with adapter

Ok this is different. Before startup I disconnected my keyboard. Mouse started working. While unit is running plugged my keyboard back in and both worked. Shut down unit reboot with both keyboard and mouse connected mouse does not work just the keyboard. Power down disconnect keyboard power back up mouse works plug keyboard back in both work crazy stuff.

Hey guys;

I have issues getting PS2 mice(?) to work. Some do dome don't. Nothing to do wth BIOS settings. Just the luck of the draw.
I now mark "HDR/d8b' on the bottom with either a label or a permanent marker of those that work.
I know it doesn't answer questions but it was what I experienced.
I have never had any luck to get the USB adaptor to work. Either the in-line PS2 to USB style or the one with 2 USB connectors that connects in a slots at the back of the CPU.
Cheers
Bruce
