HELP ! Importing wav files

Postby johnholder » Thu Mar 31, 2016 5:01 pm

I am using a SB230 Shuttle Base to move files from my laptop over to an external HDR drive. These files are from my ZOOM H6 and some others from a Roland 16trk recorder. As stupid as it sounds, I have never imported files prior to this.

I have read through everything I can find on this and I have a copy Mike Rivers book and CD documents and utilities.
When I go through the process of Importing files with the external drive loaded in the HDR, it sees the files no problem but when executing the Import I get data error 50. I have eliminated spacing in the file names as one author had suggested and that made no difference. I have not tried saving the files to some other program yet , and if anyone knows of a specific program yielding success, I would like to know about it.

Any help would be appreciated, I feel stuck without a clue.

Thanks for your help

Hi,
Are the files you are importing recorded at the same clock speed (44.1, 48khz,)?
