Hi, gonna sell the fully loaded immaculate 300 MHz beast or part it out. All plugs, Apogee WC, all kinds of cards (no DIO, sorry). Gimme a yell if in Oz, otherwise, I'll part it out. I have all the authorisation codes and floppies etc. I also have some spare parts like faders, Zalman fan etc. Never had an issue with it from the start (except the silly Fujitsu HD which is now part of landfill :( )

Hi Peter

I sure hope this don't mean your
leaving us. you sure have been a good friend to me
and you have always led me the right way with the d8b

do you mind me asking are you getting a new set up
or just giving recording up altogether. your voice is to good
for you to stop singing that's for sure.
sure wished I had your smarts.
if you are getting a new set up do you mind telling us what it is

thanks joe allen

Hey Joe :)

I'll stick around a while and help out if I can. I'm just not doing that much music anymore and I don't like to see such a good example of the d8b go to waste.

Cheers, mate.

Ok, looks like a part out situation. To avoid ebay here's what I have to sell.

3 x OPT 8 cards
3 x PDI 8 cards
1 x AIO 8 card
4 x UFX cards
2 x MFX cards
Apogee Clock Card {The famous switchable (terminated or not) modified one from the database}
Any fader board you want (2 x 8, 1 x 9)
8 x spare (brand new) faders
Brain board with OS 5.1 and all Plug ins (Authorisation codes included)
Any number of V-pots
Ribbon cables
Fluoro display
Switches
In fact anything from a fully reliable d8b.
Gimme a yell if you need something.

Sorry to hear that you are throwing in the towel but I get it. I wish you were closer so I could buy your world famous clock card, not that I need it.

Sorry to hear that Peter. I must say that I've been having similar thoughts over the past several months. I do hope you stick around.
Best,

Peter,

I only use my gear these days for personal recordings, instrumental backing tracks, don't use my second (dual) d8b/HDR at all.
Hope you hang around a little longer, the "old" guys are few and far between these days.!!!

I'll hang, Phil. I guess there's not all that much interest. I'll leave the screws in place. Cheers.

Hi peter

I am very happy to hear you say you will
hang around. like Phil said most all the old timers are gone
peter I have never meant to worry you but you are a person that
when you say something concerning the d8b you know what your
talking about. and there are others on here too but most of them
are gone. if you do leave us you will be missed that's for sure
I just hope I don't have to get the FBI to find you.
