MIDI Breakout Adapter Drawing

Is there a correct drawing stashed here somewhere? I tried to find it on the Mackie Mackie forum and couldn't. The link that I had no longer goes to the correct forum page. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough but the only drawing I could come up with is the one with the wires switched so the current tries to go against the diodes.
