Hi There

I just found out that i had a UFX card and a CE clock card in my system

the thing is, when i press on PLUGINS --> plugin configuration it shows

EMPTY CARD SLOT, on all 4 slots

* - How can i activate these cards?

* - What is the purpose of the CE clock card?

The clock card runs the whole box and dice and should be in the sync slot at the back of the console. No clock card, no sound (with the exception of the 2 track ins).

You may need to pull the UFX card (with the power off), reseat it and reboot. Make sure it's in slot 1.

Also make sure you have Service Pack 3 installed.

Only one card is required to run the UFX plug ins. You need to purchase UFX plug-ins from Mackie to use with the UFX card. They have drastically reduced the prices so it could be worthwhile. An MFX card gives you some free goodies but you'd need to assess the added value of your own accord.
