Can only see every other signal on d8b meters

I have 1/4 mono cable of 8 coming from 003 to mackie d8b, I hear all 8 tracks separated but I can only see 4 on meters, I cannot see 1,3,5,7
Can see
2,4,6,8
Any idea what's going on?
Any help would be appreciated

Hey Wood;
I see you are new, so welcome . This is a great Forum with a lot of memebers who help.
I would start by making sure you are pluged into the Line Inputs on channels 1 through 8 and not the insert I/O. Easy mistake to make.
You would hear the audio but the insert poimtt is after the meters I believe.
Start there and post back. The more info you gibe the better.

Thanks for your response,
They are in the right ins, I even hooked a mic up XLR to track 1 turned the trim up , I could hear the mic but nothing on seeing level, then I hooked mic up to track 2 XLR , hear and see level,
I can see main out meter from all tracks.
It's making me Nutty! Lol

Hi, and welcome to the forum...
Do you have an UFX or MFX card in the first fx card slot? If you do you could load up a stereo fx patch and try routing a signal through it. This should return on the Effects Bank (Channels 49-52 for the first fx card). If the meters respond when switched to the Effects Bank then the hardware is working as it should.
