There is no pain, you are receding. A distant ship smoke on the horizon. You are only coming thru in waves. I have become, comfortably numb.

Sounds Ok. I think soundcloud messes up the sound a bit. Can't see the baud rate.

Good work.

Yeah, Soundcloud does some sort of comb filtering thing at times. Not sure why that is happening but even my 320k mp3's are odd sometimes.

It sounds good.... So many mix decisions are made with vocals in mind, i would bet a lot would change if you had some vocals on here. I like drums to pop a bit more but that is me. Where you have them seems to work fine too. You gonna come up with a vocal track at some point?

well i really dont like my 15 year old voice so I got my worship leader who has professionally recorded vocals and he is pretty good plus his voice fits the song so il probably do that sometime later next week

I agree with crash on the drums, I like mine to feel like I'm standing in front of them or I'm about 10 rows back from a PA.

There is a weird punch in thing after the intro going into the verse. That is the only thing that caught me right off.

Sounds good so far want hear those vocals!!!

Start with the drums. Then Bass to complement the kick. Get them sweet together. Then bring the other stuff up behind and either side of them. Grouping helps.

Sounds pretty good. Same as others on drums. For me, maybe a little more volume (not much) and low frequency on the bass.

I love how it goes into the part at 2:51. Sweet! I disagree about the drums needing to come up. I like them where they are for this kind of song. Not everything has to be so damned present and in focus all the time. It wears on me. Give me some depth-of-field, some blur, some backdrop. Wait, is this photography class? Anyway, I think your mix has some of that in it, so good for you.

i agree with Crash that once the vocal is put on things are going to change big time, so you're kinda of wasting your time mixing this thing until then. Well, not wasting it because you are learning.

You're fifteen? Really? Heck, I didn't know how to tie my shoes at fifteen.

Anyhorizon nailed the feel. KNUM (numb radio) (that's my 24 hours a day PF radio station I'm going to start some day. SteveT will love that!).

Hey, I like it. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to hearing it with the lead vocal. I'll hold any tips until then.

c-ya,
