Digital Trim Calibration

I was tweaking my nearfield monitors last night via "PinkNoise" setup and noticed that one of the ch strips was off by a few decibels ( see pic). At first I thought it was one of channels on my Avalon Compressor gain settings, but after some debugging, I realized it was coming from d8b's digital trim. I had to compensate the gain on one ch to balance things out. I tried difference chs and saw the same difference. I was wondering if these digital trims needed be calibrated or not or perhaps over time these trims create some gain offsets due to the age of electronics.

thoughts?

I have never heard of that issue. If you see it on different channel pairs, I would be inclined to think it is before the d8b inputs.

Thanks Crash, I will look at the equip workflow again to make sure there is nothing in its path.

looks like Crash was right...found the problem and it's my DAW unit which I completely overlooked. Working on getting that fixed. Thanks
