Hello everyone. I have a few hurdles I'm having problems overcoming. If you wouldn't mind taking a moment to chime in with any suggestions I would very much appreciate them, thanks in advance.

1. I changed the cmos battery, reset the bios correctly. I own two d8bs one new board one old board. Currently I'm working on the new board system.

2. I am trying to install an OS onto the hard drive. I have tried everything I can think of to get this going correctly. Per the instructions in dos 6.22 I type from the A prompt, Fdisk c: format c: this gives me an invalid perimeter error. I can however type fdisk.exe and get multiple options for setting dos partition tables. Once I do get an active partition I am able to get a C: while in DOS. When I insert a floppy or USB into my emulator I get through the first step I'm never prompted to put in the second disc and get a blinking green asterisk on the screen with nothing else. I have tried the format:on option to no avail.

3. Does anyone know if these hard drives are formatted in fat12 fat16, fat 32 etc?

4. I have gone through the BIOS several times, during booting it does show the hard drive, I've tried installing version 3, 5 and 5.1. each give me the blinking green asterisk.

I'm guessing the answer to my last question is no.

While trying to load 5.1 I get an error (file error loading image)
I have tried 5.1 build 445 & 455.

Check through the database - I think most of the info you need is in there.
