DUAL HOOKUP

Apogee wordclock card/8 Channel Analogue Aux input card
Is it possible to record to another digital DAW such as Cubase using a Motu 828 MKIII FireWire Audio MIDI Interface
at the same time as the HDR 24 i know little about digital recording interfaces so any help would be invaluble,i would like to record to cubase so i can edit and use some plugins and ive been struggling to understand how to hook the D8B up to cubase to act as a DAW controller someone mentions using midi does the D8B have a midi out ?
