Hi Funk,

Sorry to see that nobody responded yet, so far. But honestly, I also don't have a good idea what could cause this.

I mean, since it works in software, we kinda know it's something with the hardware. And since we know the D8B likes to throw a tantrum every now and then, demanding to get cleaned up, I'd probably start by taking the lid of yet another time, and reseat the ribbon cables etc., clean the contacts and all.

But if that doesn't help, I have no idea what component could potentially cause something like that, if something physically went bad on one of the boards.

Sorry... I know that you know all of that already... but still thought it would be nicer to say 'something', that to seemingly ignore your post...

I hope you'll find the culprit! Best of luck!!

Missed this post

I seem to have read somebody else being able to work everything on screen but not on the desk, but I can't remember the thread or the conclusion...if there was one!

No suggestions from me except the obvious connector cleaning etc?

I had a problem once and no amount of re-seating would solve it until I tightened up on a power connector to get a tighter fit...it seemed ok, but obviously wasn't :?
