How do I enter my BIOS Setup with the keyboard?

Hello, How do I use the keyboard to change bios/cmos settings on new mother board? Using the keyboard, I can't figure out how to navigate around the bios/cmos. If the setting I want to change is highlighted, how do I change it. Example: Auto to None. Or get the day to highlight. Through a bit of experimenting, the up/down. left/right keys move to some settings, but basically I can't highlight and change settings. FYI, I replaced a dead battery. Thanks, Fred

It has been so long since I have done this it is a bit fuzzy. Once you get what you want highlighted, try the page up and/or page down keys. See what that does for ya. I remember it being sort of a clunky operation.

Much thanks for responding Crash. I talked to a computer tech and he walked me through it. Clunky for sure! But after replacing swollen caps on the motherboard, replacing a dead battery and reconfiguring the CMOS/BIOS, it booted and is working great. Thanks for your response, Fred
