Greetings Fellow D8b users. My D8b boots up and works fine for about a minute or 2, then all sound disappears. Not even a response on the meter bridge from a mic plugged into an input. This started happening a few days ago. I'm going to take the back off and clean and re-seat connectors. I'd appreciate any other suggestions while it's apart. Thanks, Joel

That is an odd one. I wish I could offer some wisdom but I got nothing here.... Sounds like you are going down the road I would go as well. Let us know if that gets you up and going.

Same here, this sort of thing might happen when the desk gets warm and the connectors move, but after a minute or two?

A re-seat is always worth trying...also your clock card.....try that first?

Please search here for faulty PSU solution. I did a whole write up on how to fix this.

The problem you are experiencing is related to faulty the wire harness coming off the power suppply board supplying the dsp card. The dsp supplies power to the meter & analog section. You xan reseat all day long but over time it gets worst and worst until you either replace the wires or hard wire the connections.

Also reference the database section for the loss audio/faulty power supply cable.
