Routing from AES/SPDIF card

Is it possible to use my stock Digital Input card to record an external digital device? I'm having trouble finding this in the manual...I'd like to route my AXE FX through my d8b for recording to HDR.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Eric

Yes. Under setup, digital I/O, choose AES or SPDIF as your main digital input. Then, on two of the main channels, select via the pre insert channel patch facility SPDIF-L and SPDIF-R or AES-L and AES-R, depending on what you chose in setup. Then route them, as you normally would, to your desired destination. Be aware that there will be some latency involved which you can calculate using the chart in the database.

You're cool, Eric. I just like to see everybody happy and working fine with their d8b.

Cheers,

Peter

I am getting SO happy with it. I took a couple Tascam DA recorders to my last band gig and patched live off the mixer we use there, brought the machines home and started mixing on the d8b. It was awesome having all that DSP power - I was amazed, I have 4 MFX cards and perhaps I'm easily amused, but I had it singing. Love it and am getting around faster on it every day.
thanks again to everyone who's help get me hooked up.
Eric
