Hello, I'm new to the d8b and to this forum. I'm looking for the best way to hook up a third set of speakers, I'm already using the nearfield and main in the control room section,But I would like to use another set of speakers. Is this possible and if so will I be able to control the volume without effecting the other sets of speakers? Thanks.

I suppose you could use one of the stereo aux sends(9&10 or 11&12) set to post with the level control on each channel set to 0 or any value you prefer. Then just use the master Aux Volume for that send to control level to the speakers.

Or get another control room unit like the mackie big knob or something and take the XLR main outs to the unit and select your speakers with that.

One way is free the other will cost you some money.

The stereo aux send sounds like the one. Thank you so much.

What about the Studio outputs?

You can control the level of this outputs using the Studio Level button in the STUDIO/SOLO section.

That option never occurred to me, to be honest I had totally forgotten about the studio out send!
