Thank u for replying my mackie d8b CPU have a booting problem when ever i powered it up it the console is saying system error host did not boot properly check computer rock or contact tech support and there is nothing showing on the VGA display monitor. Do u know what could be the problem?

Might be a clue there. Many things can cause this but try reseating the video board and checking the VGA cable. For starters, you should see some boot up sequence on the video monitor. Try that and let us know how that goes.

Thats a corrupt hard drive...as with any cpu if the system can find the boot sequence its stalls out...thus the screen going blank.

Open up the cpu and check that the hard drive IDE cable is connected properly. Or better yet, just replace it and reload OS and see if that helps.

Thank u very much guys for those helpful tips bt am sorry noun of them works I pulled out all the cards clean and re seated them and its the same problem :-( do u think the problem would be the mother board??????

Have you checked the BIOS settings?

If you didn't, do so.
