Can anyone recommend a keyboard? Adapter?

I need to replace the old keyboard for th D8B, but I'm having a heck of a time finding an AT to USB adapter so I can use a modern keyboard...

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, I think I really need to try to go USB because i'm going to be a few feet farther away from the power supply than the current keyboard wire will allow, so I'll need a newer USB keyboard with a bit longer cord.

Wireless would be awesome...I know, it's a pipedream. But seriously, I need to do something about this...any suggestions?

AT->PS2... and then PS2->USB (gender benders - adapters)

Otherwise you'll need to locate a direct AT->USB adapter... couldn't find one myself after a quick search...

Peace

Dear ALL,

Will a USB KEYBOARD with the mentioned adptors (AT->PS2... and then PS2->USB ) work on the d8b?

Has anyone ever used a USB keyboard on the d8b?

Et All;

I have used , with success, a USB keyboard on the d8b. :)

I had a USB to PS2 adaptor, then a 10 ft PS2 cable, then a PS2 to AT (DIN 5 pin) adaptor.

I have tried recently one of those "roll-up" USB keyboards and it did not work. I haven't even got it to work on my XP or Windows 7 machines. :(

Adaptors for above to make a standard QWERTY USB Keyboard work very available at this point. At least here in Canada.

Cheers
