I found a CPU, in NY, got me for $350.00, but it works, with 3.0, no mouse input, now I have to find out how to manoeuvre, around without a mouse, any suggestions. I want to add 5.1 to it but, I'm hesitant about doing it, because the last time I tried, it wasn't a successful, install.

Why is your mouse not working (no card, no mouse, have both but not working)?
OS version is linked to the brain board within your desk, so once purchased it should be possible to install it on another CPU with the same code, as long as you don't change the desk or the brain board within.

Edit: fixed typo

Hi Blastin,

Without a mouse there is a lot you will be missing. The normal keyboard shortcuts we take for granted these days are not available to you via the d8b software. v3.0 or v5.1. With the d8b I think both the keyboard and mouse are necessary.

There has got to be a way into the motherboard with a separate PS/2 input card and some light soldering that will get you a mouse input, I wouldn't know how to do it but someone I am sure does know how to do this.

Hope this helps. Sorry you are having so much trouble with this thing...
