Your picture shows you have 3 OPT-8 cards installed and you have internal clock locked, that's how it should be?
What did you do to lock the clock as you previously said you couldn't lock it?

You should now be up and running with sound!

But then, why can't I make the sync work and the midi does not send signals?
But then, why can't I make the sync work and the midi does not send signals? I tried this:
1) I removed all the cards leaving only the three OPT-8 cards, CPU - HDR, connected
2) I connected the MIDI cable
3) I pressed Play from the D8B mixer commands
but nothing works neither the Play nor the record button nor the stop button.
At this point I can't control the HDR from the mixer. I tried all the connections but nothing to do.
I was wondering: isn't the operating system corrupt?
or maybe you need to reinstall everything?
Help help help.

Are you sure the midi cables are connected correctly - out from d8b to hdr in?
If you press play or record on the hdr, do the display on the d8b start to count up?

I assume you have a clock cable from your HDR "out"to D8b "in"and you should select Word Clock in setup, apparently it's better that the HDR is master.

Yes the midi cables are connected correctly
as you said.
If I press play or record the D8B display does not start counting, it remains still.

* I connected the MIDI cable - from d8b -out- to hdr-in, so the D8B display does not start counting and remains still.
* I tried the reverse: MIDI cable from HDR - out - to D8b - in - even so the D8B's display does not start counting and remains still.

* If I press play or record on the HDR, the d8b display does not start counting.

* On the HDR everything works properly
* On the D8B, I noticed that the word clock setting does not remain in memory, so if I make a setting then I turn off and restart I have to redo the setting because it does not remain in memory and every time I have to go into the setup and reconfigure the word clock.

I own the original operating system, but having bought five / six plugins, when I managed to install I no longer remembered the serials and so I was forced to install a cracked system ... can this be what gets me in trouble?

I'm not talking about midi cables.....a word clock cable from the HDR BNC clock output to the input of the d8b Apogee clock card!

Phil, I did as you told me but my D8B didn't want d8b start to count up.
Only HDR works well.
